What We Love about this Special Resort - We love the staff! We can't say enough about the outstanding welcoming 5-star service in every department. The ranch encompasses over 28,000 acres and is renowned for offering innovative, all-inclusive adults only, guest experiences. You can return time and time again and never have the same vacation twice. There is so much to do that you won't know what to try first. Of course we will recommend our favorite options during your pre-arrival planning, and listen to your suggestions in custom designing your vacation. Then we can pre-book your chosen experiences like fly fishing and the cattle drive, or anything else you would like to lock-in. Then on arrival, you will meet with the concierge staff, go over your plans, and they can also make additional suggestions to match your desires. Maybe you'll test your fly-fishing and fly casting skills on a scenic float trip, join the ranch staff to drive cattle, or enjoy a spa treatment. Of course, there's a hefty dose of luxury included, from elegant cuisine and fine wines to a wood-burning fireplace and private hot tub at your cabin. And during your stay, the concierge team is always available to make any changes in your itinerary to suit how you feel in the moment.
Horseback Riding - Saddle up! What better way to explore the beauty of the western countryside than on horseback?
Over wildflower meadows in spring… under blue mountain skies during the summer… through the richly scented needles of a Ponderosa pine forest in fall… or across a trail of freshly fallen snow, horseback riding at Triple Creek Ranch is a year-round activity. Along the way you may even have an opportunity to witness the everyday lives of our favorite wilderness locals, including white tail deer, mule deer, elk, wild turkeys, an occasional bald eagle, and many more! Rides that originate on the ranch are included in your stay, and experienced wranglers accompany all horseback trips. And we love the selection of the finest horses the West has to offer, and each guest is matched with the right horse for them.
Cattle Drives - For a thrilling adventure that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment, there is nothing like a cattle drive to bring out your inner cowboy or cowgirl! Enjoy a day on the range herding cattle the old-fashioned way. Cattle drives are a full day event. Guests meet the Wranglers at the Rider’s Roost prior to departing for the event, then take a break midday to enjoy a gourmet packed lunch, and get back in the saddle to finish the job before heading back to the ranch in the late afternoon… leaving enough time for a relaxing soak in the hot tub or a refreshing dip in the pool before dinner! Cattle Drives are the most requested activity at Triple Creek Ranch! Only a limited number of guests can participate on each drive so we encourage you to sign up at the time of your booking.
Food, Wine and Art - The resort is home to one of the most comprehensive and fascinating collections of Western and Gaucho art anywhere, plus regular events with premiere western artists are scheduled throughout the year. And one of our favorite features of the resort is the amazing wine cellar with wine tastings conducted by renowned winemakers. Cooking and craft cocktail classes are always fun and lively. And the gourmet dining experiences are sublime, from the main dining room, to the bar and outdoor spaces, to private dining in your cabin.
World-Class fly-fishing with top Orvis-endorsed guides - Float and wade fly fishing options on the East Fork, Bitterroot, Salmon and other area water. Focus is on brown and rainbow trout, with other species available, including steelhead. And this is the ideal place to learn to fly cast, fly fish, and work on improving your overall angling skills. We love fishing from the ranch, and especially enjoy the early season Skwala hatch, then on to the big salmon flies, and into the main summer hatches. We're happy to discuss the fishing options at the time of your booking and make sure you have a wonderful fly fishing experience.
Skiing - Yes, its amazing, and under the radar. The nearby Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Resort provides incredible uncrowded powder skiing. Powder Thursday is a tradition here. Ask us about it. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and more.
