All Natural: Lisbon’s New Wave of Wine Bars - The Portuguese capital, famous for its vinos goes all out on natural wines. If you are looking for decadent fun, nothing better than enjoying a city-wide search for the best wine and tapas. We can point you in the right direction. Or enjoy the nearby countryside with a winetasting day trip. We recommend Adega Regional de Colares, the oldest cooperative winery in Portugal, in the famous Sintra region, less than 45 minutes from downtown Lisbon, and Quint de Sant'Ana, a family run winery with a charming guest house if you want to stay over.

Fishing Adventures in Portugal

🎣 Lake Alqueva – Black Bass & Pike-Perch in the Heart of Alentejo. Tucked into the golden hills of the Alentejo, Lake Alqueva is Western Europe’s largest artificial lake, created by the Alqueva Dam on the Guadiana River. Spanning over 80 kilometers, this vast and peaceful reservoir is a year-round playground for anglers chasing black bass and pike-perch (zander). Here, you’ll find submerged trees, rocky coves, and deep drop-offs — ideal habitat for these predatory species.
Black bass, a prized catch for many visiting anglers, hit hard and fight well in the warm shallows. Meanwhile, Zander lurk in deeper zones and reward patient vertical jigging or trolling with powerful, deliberate takes.
