Fly Fishing in northern Spain is what anglers dream about: the sunny side of the Pyrenees, surrounded by the best rivers, lakes and streams in one of the most well-protected natural paradises in the country. The wild zebra trout, endemic to the Mediterranean region, is a beautiful and most well preserved treasure. Guest anglers will also have the opportunity to fish brown trout, brook trout, rainbow trout and barbel, and most fishing is with dry flies.
We work with the best companies and certified guides in the region (including Ricardo Madeira and Adrian Sauté, the founders of Pyrenees Fly Fishing, along with their guide team), and focus on making sure you are in the right location and the right time of year for the type of fishing trip you prefer. And aside from the wonderful fly fishing, there are many activities to keep all non-angling companions or family members more than happy. That includes experiencing excellent local gastronomy and unique local wines, along with a range of active adventures like hiking, biking, wine tasting, sightseeing in national parks, churches and monasteries, birdwatching, and more.
