Staying on Mangrove Cay you have the advantage of being able to start your day in Moxey Town on the Middle Bight, or in Lisbon Creek on the South Bight. On the Middle Bight you are minutes away from the famed Moxey Creek, Fever Creek and other flats we won't name, where you'll find bonefish galore, plus you can have shots at double-digit bones at any moment. The South Bight is a remote paradise of color and pine forests and vast white flats. Plus the West Side beckons, with easy access from both Bights. In season you’ll also find tarpon, permit, snapper, sharks, barracuda, and more. Whatever your preference, our guides have your covered.

Swain's Cay Lodge is the best place to stay on Mangrove Cay. Comfortable accommodations on the beach include garden rooms, ocean front suites and a duplex apartment for quick access to swimming, snorkeling and sea kayaking. Full restaurant and bar. Complete bonefishing packages available including accommodations, all meals and guided fishing; or just book a room and mix fishing with a top guide along with DIY fishing. Excellent wadable flats in front of the lodge, and all along the Mangrove Cay oceanfront.

If you just want to relax and fish, or enjoy diving and snorkeling, it's hard to beat hanging out in Mangrove Cay. Upon arrival at Swain's Cay Lodge, you will be greeted by a lodge host, get settled into your room and then you just start enjoying your time here. Breakfast is served starting at 7 am. You can order eggs and other specialties to order. Lunches (that you pre-ordered) will be ready to go and your guides will pick you up in front of the lodge. Fishing starts between 8 and 8:30 am (but depends on tides and time of year).
The guides are excellent instructors and they want to accommodate the type of fishing you prefer. Be sure to tell your guide about any specific angling goals you have in mind at the beginning of your trip. Each day when you return from fishing, apre appetizers will be ready at the beachfront bar. Enjoy with your favorite beer or cocktail, followed by dinner. In terms of gear - you need to take your own fly fishing equipment. We will talk this over with you before your trip, and will send you detailed pre-arrival information with our gear, clothing and other recommendations. |

Booking Tips: It’s always best to call us as far in advance as possible to book your trip, especially for high season dates in October, November, March, April and May. If you’re looking to target specific species, large fish, or anything in particular, we can talk over the best options and dates.
